Laramie Peak, WY Air Crash, Aug 1935

BODIES CARRIED FROM PEAK CRASH
GLENDO, Wyo., Aug. 21.--(AP)--Through the giant pine forest of Laramie peak, twelve men today carried the burned and bruised bodies of a pair of aerial honeymooners and a businessman from the crypt their plane dug when it smashed into the lofty mountain.
Below the peak Dr. A. C. Arnett of Lafayette, Ind., father of the pilot, Dick Arnett of Indianapolis, waited to claim the body of his son and the young flier's bride, Eleanor.
The bodies of the Arnett couple and that of Burnside Smith, Indianapolis businessman, were wrapped in blankets and carried through the timber and underbrush for several miles to a point where horses were waiting.
