Sherman Hill, Wy., Train Wreck, Jul 1900

Engineer Badly Hurt,

Special Dispatch to the World-Herald.

Cheyenne, Wyo., July 17. – Engineer NITLEH of Cheyenne was seriously injured in a freight wreck on Sherman hill at an early hour this morning. NITLEH was on a light engine which was run down by a heavy freight train and was caught under the cab when the locomotive toppled over. Both engines were badly damaged and two firemen and another engineer slightly hurt. The track was blocked for several hours.
