Green River, WY Train Wreck, Dec 1892

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 13.---Special Telegram.---A west-bound passenger train on the Union Pacific Railway was wrecked yesterday near Green River, Wyo. The accident was caused by a broken rail. Six cars were derailed and about twenty-five persons injured. Two of them may die. Most of the injured are immigrants. Messages filed by the passengers were not forwarded by the telegraph company promptly and nothing was known in this city about the accident until the arrival of the train at 2:30 o'clock this morning.
