CALAMITY AVERTED.

FOUR HUNDRED EAU CLAIRE SCHOOL CHILDREN MARCHED OUT IN FIRE DRILL.

Eau Claire, Wis., Jan. 22. -- Fire destroyed Washington school during classes. Four hundred children marched out in fire drill, a great calamity thus being averted by prompt action of the teachers. Loss, $15,000.
