MARINETTE HAS RAGING FIRE.
FLAMES ATTACK SAWYER-GOODMAN LUMBER COMPANY ENTAILING LOSS $175,000.
(By Associated Press.)
Marinette, Wis., Aug. 1. -- The largest lumber fire in the history of Menominee river, is raging tonight on the south wharf, of the Sawyer-Goodman Company. The total damage will be about $175,000, covered by insurance. More than 10,000,000 feet of lumber will be consumed before the fire burns out. About ten acres of the lumber yard has been burned over.
