MISSING BOY FOUND FROZEN TO DEATH

BARBABOO [sic], Wis., Dec. 26 - (UP) A seven-year-old boy froze to death Christmas eve while his pet dog stood at his side in a desolated woods five miles west of here.

Lawrence Michel got lost while hunting with his father, Henry Michel, 46, in a woods near their home Sunday. The father searched for the boy overnight and went for help Monday.

The search party found the boy's body propped against a tree, with his dog standing guard over him.
