MYSTERY BLAST RAZES WESTERN SILICA PLANT.

Browntown, Wis., Dec. 25. (AP) -- A mysterious explosion, followed by fire, yesterday destroyed the main building of the Browntown Silica company, which had been engaged in supplying silica, used in processing steel, to defense industries. No one was injured.
P. W. PALMER, one of the owners, estimated damage at $150,000. FBI agents at Milwaukee were notified.
