FIRE RECORD.

Stables Burned at the Greenbrier White Sulphur Springs.

GREENBRIER WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va., August 1,---About two o'clock this morning a fire broke out in the stables belonging to the Springs Company, located some four hundred yards west of the main hotel. There were at the time forty-six horses in the stables, only two of which escaped. Forty-four horses, twenty of which belonged to the Springs Company, and the remaining twenty-four to guests here, were burned. Among the losers were Mr. Corcoran, the banker, who had three horses in the stables, General Anderson, Colonel Carrington, of Richmond, and a number of others. Arrangements have been made for a supply of new horses immediately, so that the business or pleasure of the guests will not be interrupted.

GREENBRIER WHITE SULPHUR

SPRINGS, W. Va., August 1.}

The stables belonging to the Springs were burned this morning at 2 o'clock, and forty-four horses burnt. Among the valuable horses lost were the "Doswell," mare of Gov. Mathew's, Col. Delaplaine's team, and two fancy spans belonging to Major Ford and Col. Davis, of Lewisburg.

W. Va., August 1.---This morning a fire broke out in the stables belonging to the Springs company. Forty-four horses, twenty of which belonged to the Springs company and twenty-four to the guests, were burnt. The fire is supposed to be the result of carelessness on the part of the servants. The building was uninsured.
