FARMER DROWNED IN TEACHING BOYS HOW TO SWIM
(Special Dispatch.)
SPOKANE, July 16.---I. W. Bragg, 40 years old, while in swimming, was drowned at Bonner's Ferry today.
He was a prominent farmer in the Kootenal valley. He went with two boys for a swim in the lake just below the town. While teaching one of the boys how to swim, he sank to the bottom of the lake, eight feet deep.
The two boys at once notified the dead man's neighbors, who at once went to the lake and got the body.
Mr. Bragg's wife was sent to the insane asylum 15 months ago. He leaves a wife and four children, the oldest 12 years old.
