ARM IS BROKEN BY FALL.

Madam Von Yette Injured When She Slips on Icy Pavement.

RIDGEFIELD, Wash., Jan. 16.---(Special.)---The icy pavement on Main street caused Madam Von Yette of Portland, teacher of voice and piano, to break her left arm after she had stepped from the automobile stage, operating between the postoffice and depot here, to the hard-surfaced road in front of the grocery of S. E. Layne. She was removed to the Henrici hospital.

The fracture will keep her incapacitated for at least six weeks. She conducts a piano and voice class here, coming down from Portland every Monday to conduct the class.

Morning Oregonian, Portland, OR 17 Jan 1922
