HOT SPRINGS HOTEL BURNS.
Patrons Help the Firemen When the Alpin is Being Destroyed.
HOT SPRINGS, Va., Aug. 5. - The hotel Alpin was destroyed by fire to-day. The hotel was crowded. The patrons worked vainly with the fire departrment in an effort to save the buildings while the patrons of a nearby hotel assisted in saving personal property.
No one was injured. The property loss will reach $100,000.
