FIVE KILLED.

LARGE BOULDER CAUSES THEIR INSTANT DEATH.

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 12. -- News reached Knoxville today of an awful disaster which occurred at Big Stone Gap, Va., Saturday at noon, in which five laborers lost their lives.
The men were working on a cut and had stopped for dinner,seating themselves under a ledge of rocks projecting from an embankment. Suddenly and without the slightest warning, a large boulder broke loose and came down upon them, causing instant death of all.
The names of only two could be learned:
GEORGE HARDEN of Rural Retreat, Va.
GEORGE BELTON of Lexington, Va.
