AGED MAN STRUCK BY TRAIN.

Charles Gorzey of Johnson, Receives Injuries Which May Prove Fatal.

(Special to The Messenger.)

Morrisville, Aug. 6.---Charles Gorzey, of Johnson, a man 84 years old, was struck by the way freight just below Hyde Park Saturday afternoon and probably fatally injured. He had been berrying and was standing near the track when the train passed, being struck by one of the cars and hurled into the ditch, a distance of several feet. He was injured about the head and side. Dr. C. S. Leach, of Hyde Park, was called and the man was made as comfortable as possible and taken to his home in Johnson. Doctor Leach came from Johnson this morning and said the patient was not as well and probably would live only a short time.
