Ludlow, VT Fell Through the Ice & Drowned, Dec 1881

Allie and Freddie, sons of Aleck and Bridget Snow, aged respectively six and nine years, were drowned Dec. 19, 1881. They were playing on the ice on the factory pond near Pond street, and one of them broke through. The other went to his rescue, and he, too, went under the ice. They were bright little fellows, and the entire community sympathized with the bereaved parents.
