RISING RIVERS ELSEWHERE.

RICHFORD, Vt., April 13.---High water carried off the bridge near Sorel, Quebec, on the North-eastern Division of the South-eastern Railway to-day. The bridge cost between $20,000 and $25,000.

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt., April 13,---Some anxiety is felt respecting the safety of the New Hampshire end of the dam here and the abutments of the Sullivan Railroad bridge. The river began to cut away the bank, and a large force of men are at work, with a prospect of stopping the break. If unsuccessful the abutments will go and the entire water power be rendered useless, besides endangering a part of the village of North Wallpole.

BARRE, Vt., April 13.---Both of the trestle bridges at Barre Junction and Sabin's Crossing, on the Barre Branch Railroad were carried away today by the freshet. The rain last night was the heaviest since October, and the snow is melting rapidly. Mills River track, near Montpelier, is threatened. The roads over the Orange hills are impassable.
