St Johnsbury, VT Baptist Church Fire, Mar 1882

The Free Baptist Church at St. Johnsbury, Vt., was burned yesterday morning. The fire was caused by the furnace and the upper portion of the building was entirely consumed. The basement was probably not much damaged, except by water. The church was finished five years ago at a cost of $15,000 and was insured for $2,000 in the German-American and $2,000 in the Vermont Union Companies.
