Lovendahl, UT Barn Fire, Aug 1902
Fire at lovendahl.
A fire occurred at Lovenhahl [sic] Thursday afternoon about 2 o'clock, which destroyed the barn belonging to BOB BROWN and fifteen tons of hay. Several buggies, wagons, etc., which were in the barn were safely removed by the united efforts of the people who were attracted to the spot by the dense smoke, but the barn was totally destroyed for want of a supply of water. The fire at one time threatened MR. BROWN'S residence, but the light wind prevailing served to stay its fury and the building was saved.
