Eureka, UT Private Plane Crash, Oct 1960

FOUR POLICEMEN KILLED IN PLANE CRASH IN UTAH.

Eureka, Utah (AP) -- Wreckage of a light airplane with four police officers aboard which crashed into a mountain last Thursday was found Sunday five miles southeast of here in central Utah. All four officers were killed.
Aboard were the pilot, TERRY C. LASATER, 26, and BERT SINGLETON, 31, GEORGE PETERSON, 36, and PHILIP CALDWELL, 42.
They were members of the Salt Lake City Police Force en route to Las Vegas, Nev., where the department said they planned to see about buying a plane for the police force.
