Three Fingers Amputated Following Sausage Mill Accident.

Amarillo, Tex., Jan. 19.---J. M. Burrows suffered a badly maimed hand as the result of an accident from a sausage grinding machine. Burrows runs a butcher shop in connection with his store and was running the electric grinder at high speed. In pressing down the meat the knives caught his fingers. He switched off the power, but the machine had to be taken apart to release his hand. Three fingers have been amputated.
