CYCLONE IN CASS COUNTY.

Windstorm Destroys Residence of Roadmaster Dodd---Negro Cabin Is Wrecked.

Special To The News.

Jefferson, Tex., Jan. 3.---News has just been received of a cyclone some ten miles north of this place in Cass County Wednesday afternoon about 4 o'clock. The residence of Roadmaster Dodd of the Jefferson and Northwestern was completely wrecked. None of his family was hurt.

A negro cabin with seven negroes in it was destroyed. One negro girl had a leg broken.

A bridge on the Jefferson and Northwestern was completely destroyed.
