Nine Injured, Three Seriously, in Crash On Fort Worth Pike

Fort Worth, Texas, March 18. Three of the nine injured in a traffic accident on the Fort Worth pike Saturday morning near Arlington Downs, are seriously hurt, according to hospital attendants.

W. C. DILLARD of Fort Worth has a cut on the head, concussion of the brain and minor facial hurts. His elder son, C. W. DILLARD, 24, is suffering with head injuries and a younger son, Roy DILLARD, 11, has an injured back and hip as well as a fractured leg.

Their car collieded (sic) with another auto mobile containing six Chickasha, Ok., athletes en route to Fort Worth to participate in the annual Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show track meet. One of them, Leslie WRIGHT, was treated in Arlington for cuts and bruises. The others were taken to Dallas and were treated for minor cuts and bruises at Methodist Hospital.
