TORNADO WIPES OUT THREE TEXAS TOWNS.
FOURTEEN PERSONS KILLED IN A BIG WIND STORM.
TORNADO SWEEPS OVER THE TOWN OF BELLEVUE, TEXAS, CAUSING RUIN AND LOSS OF LIFE.
NAMES OF THE DEAD, INJURED AND MISSING.
CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATES PLACE THE PROPERTY LOSS AT SOMEWHERE NEAR SUM OF $175,000.
Fort Worth, Tex., April 26. -- A tornado has swept away the town of Bellevue and damaged the town of Stoneburg.
Meager advices received here state that Bellevue is destroyed, twelve or fifteen persons having been killed and many injured and missing. Fire is destroying the ruins caused by the tornado.
A special train has started from Bowie, Tex., 125 miles distant, for the scene. Bellevue is a town of 1,500 inhabitants.
Dallas, Tex., April 26. -- Bellevue, a village in Clay county, and Stoneburg, a village in Montague county, both eighty-five miles northwest of here, were struck by a tornado this evening, the number of dead being estimated to be thirty in Bellevue and twenty in Stoneburg. Dispatchers from Hico, 130 miles south of Bellevue, are to the effect that Hamilton, the county seat, was also devastated by the tornado and several lives lost. Two relief trains have gone from Henrietta to Bellevue, carrying doctors and nurses.
Bellevue, Tex., April 26. -- A tornado swept through this place tonight, destroying everything in its path and as a result practically the entire town is a mass of ruins, only three buildings now standing. At least fourteen persons are dead and a number injured. The tornado was followed by fire which consumed the wreckage.

TOM BLOUNT.
Two members of the GRAY family.
Missing -- Eight.
Seriously injured -- Two daughters of D. E. SMITH of Bowie.
MRS. GAULT.
MR. GRAY and seven members of his family, two of whom have since died.
MRS. McGRAW.
Conservative estimates place the loss at between $150,000 and $175,000.
