Millers Switch, TX Train Accident, May 1936

Body Is Dismembered When Struck by Train.

The dismembered body of Ed Green, 45, of Joppy Stop, south of Dallas, was discovered on the Southern Pacific right of way about two miles east of Miller's Switch, also South of the city, by a train crew Sunday morning. Parts of the body were scattered along the track for 200 yards. A pocketbook containing $12.14 was found. The body was taken in charge by a funneral[sic] home for Negroes.
