Zephyr, TX Train Wreck, Sept 1902 - 30 people injured

Thirty people injured in a railway wreck in Texas.

The west bound passenger train of the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe railroad was wrecked at 9 o'clock Wednesday night by a defective rail near Brownwood, Texas. The entire train was thrown down a twenty-foot embankment and thirty persons were injured.

MRS. KATE HUMPHREYS and ALICE and KATE HUMPHREYS, of Houston, were dangerously hurt. LEE HALL, believed to have been a captain in the Philippines service, was also badly injured.
