Fire at Brownwood

Special to The News.

Brownwood, Tex., May 8.---Fire at 11:30 building on East Broadway, which was occupied by Geo. Walters' barber shop, M. M. Graves' saddle shop and the Grooms restaurant. The fire started in the restaurant and the same amount on the barber shop. No insurance was carried, $400 on the restaurant and the same amount on the barber shop. No insurance was carried on the saddle shop or the building. The building was a total loss, as was also the restaurant, barber shop and the saddlery was about one-half lost.
