Woman Post Exchange Worker at Hood Killed in Collision

BELTON, Texas, Feb. 27.---Mrs. Daphne Pope, 41, Camp Hood post exchange employee, was killed instantly Saturday afternoon when the car in which she was riding was in collision with an Army truck a mile east of Killeen on the Belton highway. Mrs. Pope was a resident of Rogers. Her car, demolished, was dragged by the truck 100 feet. Two soldiers in the car with Mrs. Pope received minor injuries and were taken to Camp Hood for treatment.
