TEXARKANA FIRE LOSS $9,000.

Boarding House of Mrs. J. B. Shaw Is Burned---Partly Covered by Insurance.

TEXARKANA, Tex. Dec. 31.---Fire at 10 o'clock this morning destroyed the two-story boarding house conducted by Mrs. J. B. Shaw, 402 Maple street, together with nearly all the furniture and other contents.

The house which was owned by Dr. H. R. Webster, was valued at between $5,000 and $6,000 and was insured for $3,000.

The contents owned by Mrs. Shaw were of an estimated value of $3,000 and were insured for $1,500.

The cause of the fire is not known.
