Motley County Courthouse Burns.

Matador, Texas, Sept. 27 (AP). Fire swept the Motley County courthouse here Wednesday, virtually destroying the building which was completed forty years ago Wednesday at a cost of $25,000.

No vital records were lost but there was some water damage.

The Paducah fire department assisted Matador in getting the blaze under control.

The loss was covered by insurance. Origin of the fire had not been determined.
