Funeral Pending For Burn Victim

RANGER--Funeral for Lou Gene Bledsoe, 17, who was burned to death Wednesday near Palestine when a plow struck a 10-inch gas line, causing it to explode, is pending word from a brother stationed with the Air Force in Spain.

The youth had been working as a laborer for R.M. Sneed Contractors of Eastland for about three months.

Funeral will be held in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Perkins, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Killingsworth Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother; two brothers, James C. Bledsoe, Jr., with the Air Force in Spain and William L. Bledsoe of Ranger; and four sisters, Mrs. George E. Dumith of Mingus, Mrs. Violet Robinson and Barbara Bledsoe, both of Ranger, and Virginia Bledsoe of Springfield, Mass.
