Three Men Killed In Texas Train Wreck

Greenville, Texas, Dec. 26.-Three trainmen, Thomas Cox, engineer; R.F. Henderson, fireman and B.P. Smith, brakeman, were killed when a freight train on the Missouri Kansas & Texas railway was derailed at Greenville today.

Three Trainmen Dead In Greenville Wreck

Freight Train Runs Into Open Switch, Overturning Engine and Scalding Victims.

Greenville, Texas, Dec. 26.-Three men were killed early Sunday when a Katy freight train ran into an open switch in the yards. The dead:
ENGINEER THOMAS A. COX.
FIREMAN R.E. HENDERSON.
BRAKEMAN B.P. SMITH.

The train was making good speed when it struck the switch and the engine overturned.

The three victims were thrown beneath the wreckage and scalded to death by the escaping steam.

Cox and Henderson lived at Denison and Fireman Smith at Sherman.
