Tornado Destroys a Town.
DALLAS, Texas, July 16.--Peoria, a town sixty miles southwest of Dallas, was destroyed by a tornado today.
Mrs. John Nelson and her two children were fatally hurt.

Town of Peoria, Tex., Said to Have Been Wiped Out.
Dallas, Tex., July 16--News was received this afternoon of the destruction of the town of Peoria, sixty miles southwest of here, by a tornado this morning. The wife of John Nelson and two children are believed to have been fatally hurt. Two churches, several dwellings and an immense amount of farm property was destroyed.
