Soldier-Firemen Fight Blaze in Blizzard

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Dec. 19.--Fighting heroically in the face of bitter norther that gripped San Antonio Friday, their clothing saturated with freezing water, soldier firemen at Fort Sam Houston checked a blaze that destroyed 10,000 bales of hay and threatened the entire south side of the cantonment garrison of Fort Sam Houston shortly before noon.
The hay and the building in which it was stored were a complete loss, the hay being valued at approximately $2,600.
