TWO ARE DEAD IN CRASH WITH FLEEING CAR.

Odessa, Tex. (AP) -- Two persons on their way to a picnic died and three others suffered injuries Saturday in a crash with an automobile being chased by state police at speeds up to 95 miles an hour. Four generations of the family were in the fatal accident.
Killed were MRS. GEORGE E. SPRINGER, 56, of Wichita, Kan.; and her granddaughter, JANICE MARIE SPRINGER, 2, Midland, Tex.
Injured were FREDERICK M. SPRINGER, 31, father of the girl victim and son of MRS. GEORGE SPRINGER; his wife, DALE, 31; and MRS. R. F. FRENCH of Independence, Iowa. MRS. FRENCH is the mother of the elder MRS. SPRINGER.
SPRINGER suffered head injuries and was in a serious condition. MRS. FRENCH did not require hospital care. MRS. SPRINGER suffered severe head injuries and a punctured lung and the child's skull was fractured.
