HOUSTON, Texas, Sept. 2 (AP), - Herman Trenck, 28, section boss for the Houston Pipe Line Company, was killed and Henry C. Kelly of Houston, superintendent of welders for the same company, was injured when the automobile in which they were going to Houston swerved to avoid another car and turned over twice on the Old Spanish Trail, one mile east of Richmond.

Trenck, who was pinned beneath the vehicle, died of internal injuries a few minutes after being taken to a Sugarland hospital. His chest was badly crushed.

Kelly, who was driving, suffered severe cuts and bruises, but was not in a serious condition, hospital attaches said.
