Severely Cut with Chisel.

Special to The News.

Groesbeck, Tex., Jan. 20.---Friday evening while working on a house on Frank Jackson's farm, about four miles west of here. Mr. Wofford severely cut himself with a chisel. He was trimming a door when the chisel slipped and severed the ulmar artery and the ulmar nerve. Dr. J. J. Williams of this place attended him and it required eight stitches to close the wound. It is the opinion of Dr. Williams that when the wound heals half of his hand will be paralyzed. Mr. Wofford is a recent comer here from North Texas.
