MEMPHIS FEELS STORM
Eight Persons Are Injured in Suburb.
Memphis, April 1.-Eight persons were injured, two are missing, several buildings were wrecked and a score or more unroofed or otherwise damaged in a wind storm that skirted this city today and struck Binghamton, a suburb, with its full force. Three of the injured, who were caught under the falling timbers of the Christian church at Binghamton, were seriously hurt. All are expected to recover.
Two men who were crossing the Mississippi river in a skiff when the storm swept across the river from the southwest had not been accounted for tonight. The damage was estimated at $100,000.
