NINE INJURED IN TENNESSEE WRECK
Nashville and Chicago Limited Rolls Down Embankment

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 12 - Northbound passenger train No. 26 known as the Nashville and Chicago Limited, over the Illinois railroad, was derailed one mile north of Chapmansboro, twenty-three miles from Nashville, last night, and three trainmen and six passengers injured.

Engineer S. A. Cherry, Nashville, Tenn., and the conductor.
The train is a fast train between Chicago and Nashville, and at the time of the wreck was running on a freight track at the rate of thirty-eight miles an hour. The engine, baggage car, smoker and first-class coach left the track and rolled down an embankment. The sleeper stayed on the track. The wreck is thought to have been caused by some obstruction on the track.
