Aberdeen, SD House Fire, Mar 1907

C. C. Hedger of Detroit township lost his house by fire Tuesday evening. He was in this city at the time and was notified by phone. The loss will be about $1,800.

C. C. Hedger, whose home was burned a few days ago in Detroit township, already has the lumber on the ground for a new house and men are at work on it. It is expected that the roof will be on by tomarrow night. At the time of the fire the other day, the ajoining buildings were saved by the water freezing on their sides. Mr. Hedger and his family are now living in a cook car.
