KILLED AT GROTON

Brakeman Meets Death by Falling Underneath Freight Train.

A brakeman on the H. & D. division of the Milwaukee coard[sic] was killed at Groton Sunday morning. He was riding on the cowcatcher of the freight engine, which was taking the siding to wait for the passenger, and he fell underneath, in nearly the same place where the dual killing occurred nearly six weeks ago. The dead man was 21 years of age and his home was in Appleton, Minn., where his father is a merchant.
