Tornado Damages Many Buildings

The residents of Aberdeen watched with considerable anxiety on Saturday evening the odd-behaving clouds to the west and the north, but the clouds passed over the Hub without creating and disturbance, depositing a little moisture on their way. But in the vicinity of Claremont a small sizes tornado deviloped (sic), destroying barns and smaller buildings on the farms of G. B. RADEMACHER, W. K. PATTERSON, Roy WITTEN, George ALBERTS, Alexander KERR, Phil KERR, and others. Heavy rains are also reported, accompanying the tornado, in the northern part of Brown and Marshall counties.
