Williston, SC Fire, Dec 1887
Destroyed by Fire.
CHARLESTON, Dec. 29.-Fire broke out in Williston, in Barnwell county, this morning, and spread rapidly, in spite of the exertions of the citizens. A special to the News and Courier gives the losses as follows: W. H. KENNEDY, $1500; H. K. ANDERSON, $2300; and others sustained small losses. The total loss is over $10,000; insurance $7500.

YESTERDAY'S FIRES.
Williston, S. C., Suffers Largely-Ten Houses Burned at Moss Point, Miss.
CHARLESTON, S. C., December 29-Fire broke out in Williston, in Barnwell county, this morning, and spread rapidly in spite of the exertions of citizens. The losses are as follows: W. H. Henry, $10,500; H. K. ANDERSON, $2,300; and others small losses. The total loss is over $100,000, with insurance of about $75,000.

Post Office Burned.
ATLANTA, Dec. 30.-Intelligence was received here to-day by Chief Postoffice Inspector SIMPSON, that the post office at Williston, S. C., was destroyed by fire last night and only the money order funds were saved.
