ACCIDENT OCCURS AT PENNSYLVANIA R. R. CROSSING AT HEPBURNVILLE, PA.

DRIVER AMONG THOSE SERIOUSLY INJURED.

STOPPED TO DISCHARGE PASSENGER, THEN DROVE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF FAST PASSENGER.

Williamsport, Pa., Oct. 11. -- Five persons are dead and five others seriously injured as the result of a train on the Pennsylvania railroad striking a motor bus at Hepburnville station crossing about seven miles north of here this morning.

The Dead Are:
GEORGE D. AULT, South Willilamsport.
MRS. SARAH HALL, Williamsport.
MRS. W. C. ADDERSON, Williamsport.
A Man Named SHICK, Philadelphia.
An Unidentified Man.

MATTHEW WALZZ, driver of the auto bus, with four other passengers who have not identified, is in a local hospital in a serious condition.
Three of the dead were killed outright in the crash and two died on the way to the hospital.
The bus line runs from this city to Blossburg, Tioga county, and the automobile left here early this morning. At the Hepburnville station WALZZ stopped to discharge a passenger and then, according to eye witnesses started the bus and drove directly in front of the approaching train on the Elmira branch of the Pennsylvania railroad.
