Minnie Station, PA Mill Explosion, Mar 1899

A MILL BLOWN TO ATOMS.

THREE PERSONS KILLED AND OTHERS FATALLY HURT.

Altoona, Pa., March 18. -- Late last evening a large saw mill boiler exploded with terrific force at Minnie Station. It is a remote place and particulars are meagre. The entire mill, however, was blown to atoms. Not a vestige of the superstructure is left standing.
The killed are:
JOHN SHOSS.
DAVID SNYDER.
PETER WINK.
Fatally injured:
JOHN SNYDER.
HARRY SIEGEL.
JAMES WARFIELD.
Three others were slightly injured.
