TWO MEN KILLED IN WRECK ON D. & H.

SCRANTON, Pa., June 22. - A Delaware & Hudson passenger engine, running "light," from Carbondale to Wilkes-Barre, jumped the track while it was traveling at a fifty-mile clip on a curve at Minooka Junction, three miles south of here this afternoon and two men were killed and a third man injured so seriously that he may die.

Engineer Christopher Allen, of Carbondale, aged 55, was crushed to death in his cab and Jesse L. Decker, aged 35, of Moosic, an Erie Railroad fireman who was riding home on the engine, was caught under the tender and died in a few minutes after he was taken out.

A wreck train on the way from Carbondale to the Moosic wreck was wrecked at Archbald. A large crane swung out across the opposite track and came in collision with a train of empty cars. The car carrying the crane toppled over and caused a bad mix-up, but on one was hurt.
