Tobyhanna, Pa. (UPI) -- Wreckage of a chartered aircraft remained strewn in a densely wooded area of the Pocono Mountains as investigators tried to determine the cause of the crash in which four men died.
Monroe County Coroner ROBERT ALLEN ordered an autopsy today on the body of EDWARD CHARLES MARISH, pilot of the single-engine plane which went down in rain and fog late Sunday three miles short of the Mount Pocono Airport.
MARISH, 32, Morton, and his three passengers were killed when the six-seat Piper Cherokee plowed into trees near Eschenbach Swamp in State Game Lands in Coolbaugh Township.
