ALLENTOWN PLANE CRASH KILLS FOUR.

Bethlehem, Pa. (UPI) -- A chartered plane carrying eight persons crashed on a mountain in northern Northampton County during during fog and drizzle early today.
Four persons were killed and four other persons, including a woman, were injured when the twin-engine Beechcraft crashed into a remote wooded area on a landing approach to the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Airport.
The plane, believed carrying a hunting party from the Scranton area to Easton, was last heard from shortly after 11 p.m. when it radioed the airport it was attempting to land in the fog and drizzle.
The burning wreckage was found about 3 a.m. about two and one half miles off the nearest road in the thick wooded, almost inaccessible area.
