Gas Company's Employes[sic] Burned

YORK, Pa., Dec. 14.---A leakage of naphtha from a pump caused its gas to come in contact with gas jets in the engine room at the York Gas Company's words[sic] this morning and and an explosion occurred. John Spangler and Adam Bruggeman, employes[sic] rushed toward the flame to subdue it. Both were badly burned.
