1 DROWNED, 3 HURT BY AUTO COLLISION

EASTON, Pa. July 25.---Norman Kelly, aged 25, was drowned and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Kelly, and their guest, Mrs. Eugene George, of near Palmertown, Pa., are in the Easton Hospital, suffering from shock as the result of an auto accident on East Canal street to night, when another car attempted to pass them as they entered Easton on their way home. The Kelly car was side-swiped and hurled through the guard rail into the canal. Young Kelly, who was driving, was buried beneath the machine, which is still in the water. The others were rescued by canoeists and taken to the hospital. Mrs. Kelly is suffering from shock and the news of her son's death has been withheld from her.

Scores of police in Easton and nearby towns are trying to locate the occupants of the auto that struck Kelly's machine. The parties drove on after the collision without stopping. A car containing five men, all of whom are said to have been intoxicated, passed up the road just after the accident.
