STORE BURNED AT CLYMER.

H. W. Wimer Loses Stock of Goods and Ed Widdowson the Building.

Fire completely destroyed the large store-room of Edward Widdowson, situated about a mile and a half north of Clymer, last Wednesday morning about 1 o'clock.

The room was occupied by H. W. Wimer and contained a new and rather complete stock of general merchandise all of which was destroyed.

Mr. Widdowson's loss on the building will reach $1,500, with no insurance. Mr. Wimer's loss is estimated at $1,500 which is partially covered by insurance to the amount of $1,000.

No cause for the fire can be ascertained, and it is thought to have been of incendiary origin.

Until a few weeks ago Mr. Wimer conducted a grocery store in the Mitchell property, on East Philadelphia street in this place, and he was just getting nicely started in business in his new location.
