Miners Badly Burned.

HAZLETON, Pa., June 9.---An explosion of gas occurred in No. 2 Stockton colliery, operated by Linderman & Skeer, by which Martin Kosack, Michael Lensko, George Palcko and John Morenzi were horribly burned. The explosion was caused by a naked lamp coming in contact with a body of gas which had collected in a heading. The injured men were taken to the hospital, where they now lie in a critical condition.
